but some of the old O/A and Tough Crowd guys have podcasts still. Jim Norton has a podcast of his own, as does Nick Dipalo. They've grown up, some, I guess. Norton is a thoughtful guy in his own way, and Dipalo is very political (a bit Archie-Bunkery for my tastes, but he is a really funny dude).
You can still find hours upon hours of old O/A stuff on youtube. I'm not a big fan of O/A, but I do hunt down whatever I can about Patrice O'Neil and there are dozens of hours of him on O/A, Black Phillip, and other venues that are preserved on YouTube.
I still listen to the Ricky Gervais Show podcasts from the mid-2000s. Â
It's really not about Ricky or Steve Merchant (the other of the three co-hosts) but more about their friend Karl Pilkington (the third) who's not particularly bright, but at the same time channels that dim-wittedness into some remarkably funny and, ant times, interesting ideas. And the whole nature of the show is Ricky and Steve ripping on Karl for his insane ideas. And it's laugh out loud funny. You can find a million clips on Youtube. Here's a little clip I love - ( New Window )
I don't know if Joe Rogan is considered a shock jock Â

Whenever i feel like laughing, I find on youtube the O&A gang watching a tape of Norton's old act and Patrice eviscerating everyone.
there was nothing better then driving around listening to Opie and Anthony in the afternoon. I used to laugh my ass off on route to someones house for a delivery.
Compound Media. He does a 2 hour show Monday to Thursday with Dave Landau. Lots of other shows on the network too. Compound Media - ( New Window )
I've been a Compound Media subscriber for a few years. Less than $100/year and well worth it. Anthony is still funny and his show alone is worth the $. But, In Hot Water is the best show I have seen/heard in a long time. If you want "Shock Jocks" check out In Hot Water.
You can stream direct or I like to download on my phone then stream to my car.

His stuff from the early to mid 2000's was the best.
