was how he carried the ball. Most of the time he palmed it and carried it away from his body and others it was like a loaf of bread still not tucked away. I always anticipated the ball getting stripped. I can't remember anytime that it came to fruition, but it would have me on pins/needles until the play was whistled dead.

same, and I don't remember it ever really costing him. I do remember him fumbling in the Get that shit outta here game, but Tim Carter recovered for a TD. Could have been game over, don't remember if it was the result of how he was carrying the ball though.
It's a shame about Plaxico somewhat. He was one of the most athletically gifted WR's I've ever seen. Moreso than Odell, even, I think. He just couldn't get the attitude and discipline to match. He could have been an all time great.
Those 2, in Gilbride's system were unstoppable. A perfect match. Eli wants to trust his receiver and Burress felt like a every ball that was in the air was his. He enjoying proving it to you. I think Eli wins at least one more SB trophy and TC and Gilbride would still be here if Plax never shot himself. Oh, what might have been.
Place was with the ball and that he had speed. Sort remembered him more as just making those tough contested catches.
Also, watching that video does make it seem evident to me that Eli has lost a lot of arm strength. Not saying he can't play, but some of those passes were 50+ yards off his back foot and got there quick.
We may or had another 🏆 on the wall.

I remember they played the Ravens who had another amazing defense, and the Giants O just carved them up like they were nothing.
If he doesn't shoot himself, the Giants very well could have stormed thru the playoffs and won another one.

Shame he decided to carry a gun tucked in the waistband of his sweatpants.
