No offense but once those doors are open, combined with the rest of the space of the cabinet, if anyone can't keep a dart from hitting the wall it's mounted to, they shouldn't be throwing a dart to begin with.
ordered reclaimed barnwood and used a finishing nail gun to mount. Very easy to do and looks great. If you have kids at home who will be playing, they will miss. The reclaimed wood gains more character the more the darts miss the board and hit the wood. Just a thought.
