...When you consider we had Strahan, Tuck, Osi and the 2011-version of JPP, think about how freakin' terrible everyone else must have been to only be ranked in the top 10.
The last pick of the 3rd round in 2008, unless there were comp picks given out after MM.
I would have classified Jonathan Goff as a plus player, and he was a 5th round selection, and of course we had a great UDFA signing in Victor Cruz. But holy shiiite the 3rd round and later results under Reese were bloody awful, truly horrendous, and then we we whiffed badly on back to back 1st rounders Flowers and Apple the friggen' roof caved in. What a shit pile of stink Gettleman inherited!
LB exactly where we expected. Besides Antonio Pierce, poo.
To me, the surprise is Cornerback - I'd have expected top 10 there.
And looking at that list, yeah, you can see why Brown's fans are so stoked for Beckham.
Defense has been terrible. Specials have been as well.
Also, the OL seems to be overshadowing a defense that has sucked just as bad, if not worse, for years.

Funny (not really) how closely that coincides with Reese's tenure at GM.

On this team for nearly 15 years. For as good as our OL was from 2004-2008, we still have had shitty OLs for the majority of that time period.

From 2008-2017... there was 1 player picked from round 3 and on who had a positive impact on the team. Care to guess who it was?

I cheated, but it's pretty obvious when you cheat.
He was a 3rd round pick

Or was he a 2nd rounder?
