Scanning AM while driving in So. Jersey I heard some interesting things on Philly sports talk.
First off I was impressed, and also depressed, when I heard the commentators talking about X's and O's, blocking assignments, footwork, etc. - basically intelligent stuff that you'd NEVER hear on WFAN.
They said that they expect PHI to have a more varied and complex running game this season. On the other hand, there were serious concerns that PHI's defense is anemic at all levels, and that some key players are dinged up or on IR.
Our defensive roster should stack up well with PHI's offense. Our line is fortified, DB talent seems fit to cover man-to-man, and we might have a safety that can cover Julie Ertz's husband. If Philly's defense is soft, I think our improved o-line will allow Eli and Barkley to light them up. NYG could return to beating the birds this year.
Lastly, NY radio market content ought to be much better than what FAN puts out there.
I don't buy it. WFAN could spend a 20-minute segment every day on hard-core, deep-dive Giants football talk, put it on the web and fans would listen.
Please I heard you and Missanelli eat at Ralph’s every Thursday.
No but they have a lot of Jet fans and a Bill fan as well.
How can you be the Sports radio station of NYC and not have a Giant's fan on it. The Jet talk and Met talk is just terrible for this Giant and Yankee fan.

Does WFAN have ONE-UNO, UN-host who is a Giants fan?

My bad, it was FM 94.1 - around 11AM-ish, don't know the hosts...heard talking about blocking assignments for a bit, then I tuned to FAN and heard "Bro, DeGrom"; so I switched back again to the Philly guys to do some surveillance.
Agreed. They are terrible.
610 is their primary sport station and it sucks
Come on. You know you love Cataldi and Keith Jones in the morning. And that woman who sounds like a dude.
