#Cowboys DE Robert Quinn has been suspended without pay for the first two games of the 2019 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances.
if what he agent wrote is true. It's actually not fair at all. Disappointed once again in the NFL. How do they get soooo much wrong. Really perplexing. Too big to fail no matter how hard they try.
So if you use, you get 4. If you try to hide the fact you are using you only get 2. Now that is brilliant logic from the NFL.
Not sure what the issue is with this - 4 games for proving that you were using, 2 games for suspicion of using but no direct proof. Seems fair to me, especially given how many things qualify as masking agents.
Of course, people sympathetic to the players will think Quinn got screwed here, but how hard would it be for any pharmacy to claim they filled a prescription for something for someone else and pills got crossed up? Shit, all they'd have to do going forward is make sure that there are scripts for both the drug and something legitimate going to different customers at nearly the same time to be able to retroactively play defense if necessary.
2 games

I haven't formally checked the math on this, but it sounds right.
2 games for a diuretic or masking agent. 4 games for stimulant or anabolic agent.
Statement from his agent fwiw. No way Tate's gets reduced...

And how, exactly, do you claim to know this?

Haha, I set myself up for that one.

So I guess the cover-up really isn't worse than the crime.
