that make preseason so fun. No idea if the kid can find his way onto the team but he's trying to live his dream and until the day he dies he can say he scored a touchdown in the NFL. Feel good stories are like this are great.
I mean, of course I want them to win. And if they can't win a lot of games, I at least want them to look entertaining. And if they can't manage that, I will settle for a likeable group whose future I can be invested in.
No one saw that coming maybe the least likely standout
one could think of he must have been on cloud nine
after that play then the locker room chant reminded
me of Animal House !
my buddy and I went to a bunch of LIU games the past couple of years. Carlock obviously stood out as the clear leader of that team. I just can't believe he's in the Giants camp and actually having a shot at making the team
RE: RE: The difference with the regards to the attitude of this years team

Yup, The youth and the enthusiasm is really fun to watch.
I have a younger brother who is close with Jake. He was there last night with the family and all his friends. They were really pumped up for him. It was pretty cool.
I was very impressed with the tone set by the coach. It does look like a nice team culture is being set.
Relatedly, most sideline shots show Jones engaged with Lawrence. I beleive they are roomies. A strong bond between likely leaders of the O and D may be a real blessing.
I am a big believer in having a positive team attitude. Every team has highs and lows, but a good team attitude can get you through these things. I am not a guy who just wants "the most talented players". Lots of times that leads to trainwrecks if they aren't also good locker room guys (stay tuned for the Browns).
Not quite my home town, but I've lived here since 2005
I don't know him personally, but a lot of my fellow Babylonians are very excited about his success and have nothing but good things to say about him.
I have a local news site that I run, homeinbabylon.com. I've spoken with him over e-mail and I was going to do an interview, but schedules didn't align. I may do it later in the year if things work out.
By the way, if anyone has any pictures of Jake, either from training camp or at a game, that they personally took and would be willing to let me use, I would be most appreciative. E-mail me at my webguy@bigblueinteractive.com address.
Sneaking suspicion that this might be an easy team to root for
He was a strong safety at LIU, if information is accurate.
I can't find any 40 yard dash info, though.
He was a DB at LIU but I don't think strong safety is accurate. I can't find a link but I remember reading articles when he signed with the Giants - he was more of a go-everywhere rover back along the lines of how Brad Van Pelt or Brian Urlacher played in college. (Not saying he's as good as them, just trying to describe his position.)
I thought Banks was gonna say it for Alex Wesley, no dice tho
Really a fun team you can root for

Yeah, and that really means a lot.
