Watched him play the one thing you can see is he is very athletic and the kid can throw the ball. He looks like a number one pick to me. Jones looks the part and Haskins looks lost and after that interview I would be very worried if I was a Redskins Fan.

He was obviously irritated with his poor performance and just wanted to get through the Q&A as quickly as possible.
I would be annoyed if the Giants drafted drafted him and he looked like that last night.
Great arm, exceptional athletic play, good eyes downfield under pressure to find the open man.
He's also incredibly tiny.
Unfortunately the drive he played in stalled because of a phantom OL hold.
Point of emphasis and all...

In that offense in today's league, I don't feel like height is the major issue it was in the past. Things aren't as bunched at the LOS as they used to be. A concern, yes, but a dealbreaker no.

That approach would have had NY reporters in shark attack mode. Blood in the water for most reporters.
DG picked the right guy.
Yes, Haskins had two picks and didn't look great at times, but overall he was 8 of 14 for 117 yards.
Eli's pre-season debut he went 7 of 13 for 91 yards.
I was never a big fan of Haskins, but those with the mission accomplished attitudes for both of these players after 1 or 2 series are way too premature.
The devil you say!!!

Yep, it's a mixture of wanting the player to fail for various reasons mixed with the strong desire to be able to pound chests and declare Victory(!) for their "intelligence"
Even ones I don't think will do well or were bad picks. I'd love it if Flowers was a perennial All-Pro. Even if he yuks it up on the sidelines and gulps down sunflower seeds in a blowout loss!
When I am wrong (happens everyday typically for something) it's an opp to learn if I I don't choose stubbornness which comes from pride which certainly is a struggle sometimes.
Height is only 1/2 of it. He is small.. If he gets creamed while running a few times it could have a major impact on his play. He has to run and get down or out of bounds. He cannot take big shots or his career will be short.
He's 5 10 205. People love shortchanging him on his size for a weird reason. His upper body frame is kind of small and packs a bunch of muscle on it.
He might be 5'10", but he sure looks small.
And his arms look very short. But he can certainly sling it. Undoubtedly, he has an NFL plus-arm...
Ironically, Murray's size will be an advantage when he takes off running because he's a smaller target. A guy like LJax, on the other hand, runs very high, he's tall, and he's fearless. It's really only seems a matter of time before he gets crushed.
Likely gained weight for the combines.
He is not a Giants type of player, we tend to play more traditional football. I think he will be successful because the offense is designed to take advantage of his talent. Im not sure he would be successful in a regular O.
