1000%. The Jets broadcast team isn't just a collection of massive homers (understandable) but they marry general incompetence, a lack of polish and bush-league production.

Even though I'm a Giants fan, my opinion is the Banks-Papa combo is one of the less-partisan, more-critical home team broadcasts I've listened to. I enjoy it.

Very even keeled and often critical of Giants. That Jets commentator is an awful homer, might as well wear a fireman ed outfit and constantly yell at the camera.

Papas thinks bbi is a vile sewing circle spreading salacious Mara family rumors.

And Joe starts off by saying how disappointed he was in the broadcast and how Papa/Banks didn't talk about the Jets enough. He then blasted Papa by not saying who was making the tackles in the 3rd/4th quarter for the Jets. Banks' response was great, he said once you get to the back half of a roster for a team you DON'T cover, it is tough to make those calls. He then proceeds to say how Banks reached out to Rich Cimini to get some Jets insight and he didn't offer any up.

Joe is such a whiny douche in this interview. Did he want Banks/Papa to salivate over Sammy or something? I mean come the fuck on...Jets fans are so insecure, it is unbelievable.

Do the Jets announcers talk about Giants 2nd and 3rd string defenders when they do this game? I doubt it.

And Jet fans calling in agreeing with him... How do they forget that it switches every year. When the giants are home it’s papa and banks. When the jets are home it’s Ian Eagle and Greg Buttle.
