Because he’s the player so many Giants fans and pundits said was the no brainer draft pick the Giants let get away at No. 6, I was curious how he played last night. He’s not mentioned until way down in the story, so it’s excerpted here. Linking the source, too.
“First-round pick Josh Allen made his debut, starting in place of Yannick Ngakoue, who was held out. On a few plays, Allen applied some good pass rush pressure. But in the first quarter, he was flagged for jumping offside. However, Allen tossed Ravens running back Gus Edwards for a 2-yard loss on their opening drive.”

the biggest hole to plug in the NFL is a QB .
So the Danial Jones era has begun .
The Jags had one play over 10 yards the entire night they had
one 18 yard gain . That must have been fun to watch and
what a Turd Ryan Clark is loudmouthed idiot .
Except for players battling for jobs and getting reps for when the real games start, nothing really matters about preseason football. Yes, it's much better to see your rookie QB go 5-5 with a TD than your rookie QB throw 2 picks, and it's great to watch some football again, but none of this is really all that important, and you can't make conclusions on who these players really are yet. Josh Allen, Daniel Jones, or any rookie, it's likely that this time next year we're still not sure. Saquon is a very rare exception.
