Laulletta and Webb got practice reps with the ones last year but Jones wont get them this year?
Is that what he is saying? Or he he just trying to be vague about the plan?

Any Q&A with Eli on why he missed wide open Ellison last night? Curious to hear his answer. Mind boggling how he missed him on a play clearly designed to go to Ellison and he was open.

the Ellison IF that continues and Jones continues to improve how do you overlook it? This was an issue with Eli last season missing open guys for whatever reason.
Yes Eli gives us the best chance to win right NOW, but how true will that be IF Jones trends upward like a top 6 pick. Whiled Eli continues to not see the field as well as he should at his price-point, tenure and experience level?
Shurmur's response here is definitely worth taking note of:

I agree. The guys was out there with the 3's and was taking very bad angles. If the guy is right in front of him he will make a hard tackle. Otherwise he is not a good player in space.
