The Jets scored two TD's on pick plays. I can't stand seeing that. The other WR doesn't even run a route in both cases.
In regards to first one. How is Love supposed to stop that? Run into other WR and hope for a call? Play zone so they can switch off? Seriously. How do you defend that play?

Looks like Goodson could have gone over the top on this one but another almost impossible play. Wish the NFL could do something about these pick plays.
I don't know how to post more than 1 URL.

Just spit out my water. I was LEGIT thinking the same thing, no joke.
Giants had run the play successfully against the Saints in Week 8 for one of Eli's six TDs in that game.
Few weeks later, key situation against the Jets, NYG 4th and 2 from the 4, the Jets knew what was coming.
A third NYJ defender had all of his attention on the two NYG WRs who were going to run the pick and, as soon as the play snapped, he darted underneath to leave no throwing lane.
You could call it a hybrid zone/man-to-man.
Eli hesitated, hesitated, then threw the ball directly into the chest of the "extra" defender for the INT.
Giants were up 20-10 at that point. They didn't score again and lost in OT.
Because they've MASTED it . The Jets have figured that out and will forever try to emulate them (it's the old adage "if you can't beat them, join them")
The Pats are a four headed monster - Bill, Dante Scarnecchia, Ernie Adams and Tom (the pick play is just one of a bagful of tricks that they execute at opportune times)
The Pats have mastered it.

This. You beat the pick by running something I know as matchup zone. It is man coverage, but if the players run the rub or even a slant/out type combo route you the defense switches their man.
