In this case, Antonio might view his helmet as his "good luck charm", similar to Roy Hobb's "Wonderboy" bat in The Natural. He'd make any excuse to keep wearing it.
I'm not sure why the NFL and NFLPA aren't willing to allow this sort of thing, if the player is a long time vet and is willing to sign a waiver not to sue or be part of any settlement. Didn't MLB allow vets like Pete Rose to wear cap inserts instead of batting helmets, grandfathering in the vets when they went to mandatory batting helmets?
RE: RE: RE: RE: I love how he said “Aaron Rogers doesn’t have to do this” Â
And then they sent him a pic of Rodgers wearing the helmet.
Why does everyone assume mental illness here? Maybe AB is just a horrible human being.
Seriously. The mentally ill are more likely to lash out at themselves, not at others.
You clearly don't know someone who is bi-polar.
I am bi polar. Thanks.
Well, I'm a therapist. I'm not saying that to mock you in any way but I've worked with 1000s of clients over the years. I've worked with clients that organize their rooms when they're manic - and others that get super irritable or aggressive. People can experience these things and the issues can present themselves wildly different. I'm not even sure he has BPD - people love throwing that one around. Honestly, it seems more like schizophrenia than anything. Or TBI. Paranoia, strange speech (check out his odd video messages), probably some grandiosity. It's odd and sad.

Well I do. My ex wife was high functioning. She Has made well over 6 figures her whole life. My older son has a lot similar same issues. The trend in using it as an excuse is needs to slow down.
It’s not an excuse for bad behavior. You can be bi-polar and an asshole. He’s also most likely also more than a bit of a sociopath. The world revolves around me fueled by money and fame. Leading to his ego centric/Koreans more bizarre behavior. I also was a rep for Risperdol years ago. I suggest I know a lot more than most laymen.
And they’re are a lot of people who do need help. Meds and counseling. But Just like not every diabetic needs meds. A better diet a
Can help a Type 2. Less coke and alcohol would most likely do wonders for AB.
Well said. The trend is out of control. I know lots off fuckfaces who are bipolar, borderline, etc, and lots of great folks. Some of the fuckfaces manage it and some don't. Some of the great people manage it and some, sadly do not. Social media only amplifies this shit.
Well at least you're not the first person to be an asshole Â
These things don't happen in a vacuum, an idiot is an idiot. Talent is everything as some like to think. Team chemistry means a lot, you can't have all these individuals running around creating issues and win

Like Billy B likes to say - talent sets the floor, character sets the ceiling.
He might be superstitious!
This is VERY common in the NFL, and goes back to the start of the game.

Real class act.
Hmm
I think they traded away the hot dog for a pretzel.
