sucks. But Tarpley throwing 70% of his pitches off the plate set this up.
Adams is here to eat innings. Kinda what you get when you use those guys.
Maybe so, but I'm not accepting shitty pitching as an excuse for giving up a 3 run jack because you come in unprepared to throw strikes and get behind in the count. And I'm throwing Tarpley in there too. Tarpley has good stuff, but going 3-2 on ever batter is a recipe for disaster.
We are a miserable lot posting on a message board about professional players who don't give a flying fuck what we think, at least be kind to each other.
That said, Vlad Jr. hasn't quite lived up to the billing, based on the evaluation I thought he was going to hit .400 with gazillion HR's this year, but will be a top 5 hitter and a pain in the ass for years to come.
Bichette looks very good too, not sure about Biggio. But the Bichette/Guerrero/Gurriel trio, along with Devers/Bogaerts/Betts/Benintendi group, will be a good match-up for our own core group of young players. As much as the likes of Tauchman, Urshela, and Maybin have outperformed expectations, we still need Andular and Frazier to come back strong. And let's not forget about the young players on the Astros roster.

.
I like Fernando Tatis, Jr. better than Vlad, Jr. myself.
That kid can really play, better all around player, and
a better body.
3 straight walks after two outs.
Quote:
3-0 or 3-1 on 3 out of 4 batters he's seen and walked two.
3 straight walks after two outs.
And then Ks Bichette on nasty sliders....
Well, that's baseball, Suzyn.

His change up is crazy. Throws like 3:1 changes to FBs.
Didi is due.
Glad he's back to give Babe Romine a rest. He was getting worn down.

Where dem haters at?

I'm just waiting for the day someone asks for Gary to catch, so Romine can DH...
Got worse. Didn't look right from the start.
Easy to do when you throw balls at the top of the zone and above and people swing at balls. Verlander lives there.
They are human after all, even with Gary back to rest Romine.
It wasn't a cheap hit. Vlad is going to be doing this to us for years to come.

It wasn't cheap, it was a lucky defensive swing. It was a shitty call to throw that pitch. A slider would have had him.

ahead in the count and lost him.
Need to get back on track today, with Tanaka, we'll see.
