I believe this guy had a shoulder problem in college.Injured/ reinjured it last summer. This guy is not 180lbs. soaking wet. How will he hold up tackling 220 plus running backs. I hear he has speed/talent. What good is that if he can`t get on the field and a glass shoulder. Wish him well.
If he continues to get injured repeatedly over an extended period of time going forward then we'll have to re-evaluate. If you can't stay on the field your roster slot eventually goes to someone that can. Still too early to make that call though.

This thread is weird -- but after 2 procedures on the same shoulder -- Beal does need to prove he can stay on the field.
This same skepticism was applied correctly by many on BBI when judging if Collins was a good investment, remember.
I am firmly in the wait and see, but cautious category with Beal.
This is my concern more than the hamstring. I still think Collins will never be the same player again because leading with his shoulder is how he tackles. It isn't as much of a concern with Beal because as a CB, he should be wrapping guys up, but reinjuring a body part still raises a red flag.
Yeah, what scares me is if he tore his labrum twice (I don't know this btw, just guessing based on dislocations needing surgery), all types of motion, flexibility, and dexterity gets dicey.
Getting his arms around a big, fast, moving target puts a lot of stress on the joint. I've heard a dislocated shoulder described as "tearing the hinges of the door."
He's a young guy with plenty of time off between the procedures, hopefully he's good and healed and this is in the past soon for him.
not sayin Beal is a bust, but, sheesh, for everyone to attack the thought of him possibly being injury prone is classic BBI
Beal has a History of being injured. If you want to use analogical satire to mock the OP, you have to do better
It isn't like he was injured continuously in college
in some ways, ability is not as important as availability
Sorry Dave, responded to wrong poster above. I agree it s not unreasonable to hope a guy who missed all of last year and is missing time again is not injury prone
Once he does he has to produce show he is worthy
certainly off to a bad start but not ready for
the bust label he basically has yet to play .

please clarify, satire or no?
Hard to tell anymore with all the clowns on here.
I just made a simple observation about the guy and a few douche bags have be a..holes.
This incorrect. You’re not using the douche bag right.

And then turned into one of the finest corners in the history of the organization
Don't expect that to ever, ever, ever happen again.
I can't think of a single other example of someone being given up on, damned near finished, resurrecting their career as a Giant.
Webster is often overlooked as a reason 2007 happened. That team BARELY backed into the playoffs, they gave up EIGHTY points in their first 2 games and were decimated with injuries, CB unit hit hard all season, including Webster himself, but after Sam Madison got hurt in the last game of the season, Webster returned to start and DOMINATED.
Whatever I may think of Landon Collins as a player now, he was complete and utter garbage his rookie year and good the following year.
Offensive example - Amani Toomer was a tease for a few years before the light went on.
Sometimes it takes awhile. It absolutely could happen again.

Baker didn't get hurt his first practice and then spend the yr on IR, then get hurt right away the next yr.

Analogical satire?
That’s a good one. Definitely shuts people up
