Giants games in Maryland

tdawg5697 : 8/12/2019 9:23 pm
I recently relocated for work and need best option to watch road games on TV at home (refuse to watch at a bar). i have season tickets and will be up in NY those weekends. I have xfinity so direct tv is not an option.

I always find streaming is not too reliable for games always searching for feeds.

let me know if there are any other options for the games that are not national or night games.

Thanks in advance.

It is more expensive, but I had both Xfinity and Directv when I lived in MD. I limited my Xfinity account to phone and internet and skipped the TV part of the package. Hopefully you will have a good experience with Xfinity. My service experience was mediocre, but my Dad constantly had service issues.

Sign up for streaming Sunday Ticket with their email address.
If you have access to FIOS from Verizon...

they carry stations from both Baltimore and Washington DC so you are guaranteed of getting the 2 Redskins games plus the Redskin stations tend to carry the NFC East games.
NFL Game Pass

It's $99 for the season and as a bonus you also get all the Preseason games live.

If you go this route you won't see any of the games live, but the replays are available at about 8 PM Sunday night, after all the late games are over.

Since you have tickets to all the Giants home games and you'll also see the three national games, plus the away Redskins game on local TV...you only have 4 games to worry about.

It's usually only about 4 games even without season tickets and going to every home game. Source: In Maryland

Just looking at schedule

You are likely only going to need for jets, lions, and bears. The cowboys and bucs are both 4 o’clock so depending on local coverage good chance they are both national games shown locally. The eagles and pats are both national games and you will obviously get the redskins game.

For that amount I would think it may make sense to roll the dice with streaming or risk the bar situation. You could try and find a college kid or a house that can’t get direct tv and get the nfl package streaming but that’s about 100 bucks a game so to me not worth it.

The Bucs game is a 4:05 start, which means it's not a national game.
I'm looking at the schedule and seeing about 8-10 games

that will NOT be shown locally. I'll probably sign up for Sunday Ticket using my sons college email. $100 for the season is more than reasonable.

NFL GamePass does not show regular season games Live so that may not be an option unless you want to wait until the game has ended. I am also a season ticket holder living in MD and go to all the home games. I signed for the Sunday Ticket college program so I have the seaosn for $99 as others stated.

I also got rid of DTV and now utilize Playstation Vue for my television. I was able to sign up using a Jersey zip code and have all the NY locals. I watched the Giants game on NBC from NY last week and am confident I will have the regular season games from Fox.
For local TV,

it depends on whether you are in the Baltimore or DC TV market, with some areas getting both sets of local stations. Where I am, even Redskins' games are blacked-out if they conflict with a Ravens' game (and maybe just home games for some reason.)

I have used some combination of Slingbox (set up at my parent's house, no longer works), bars, and now Sunday Ticket since I moved here in 2000. I don't trust pirate streams either.

Same. This is what I've done the past few years.
