believe he gets a TON of work in practice and would not see the field. Which is good because we need to see how the other guys do. Gallman is pretty set at #2 but the rest... Perkins looked like a complete waste last week and honestly I have never thought he was much better than a 3rd or 4th rb. We may be looking for a VET influence/insurance through the waiver wire...
for any of the players. It keeps things simpler in case he needs to adjust it for any reason. If he says he plans to give him a series or two then changes his mind for any reason at all he's going to have to answer for it.
Same thing with the QB's, no need to announce what the current thinking is since it isn't likely set in stone.
If he plays at all, I think it's probably just a couple series' in the 3rd game. I'd prefer he didn't even do that. He's one guy I am confident enough in and don't think he really needs the reps.
RE: I doubt he plays at all. This is a 4 win team without him. Â
Totally agree. He's the last person the offense can afford to lose. When the transition to Jones does occur, Barkley will play a key role in helping that transition...
Exactly. No way he plays in the last preseason game. If he plays at all, it will be the 3rd game.
Incidentally, will be a good test for Giants O-Line this Friday. Going against one of the very best front 7s in the NFL.
I doubt we will see him prior to the cowboys game.

Sarcasm off, I hope not, if he does just one series.
