64% from CC this year

Just saying. I'll take 1 R and 2 IP from the guy. But that's not a great strike rate.

CC 64% - I don't believe it. He's behind every batter! [j/k]

Yeah 53% isn't good, but he was effective.

LOL. Tbh, I was surprised CC's was that good considering he can't make it past 5 innings anymore, but yeah...

I don't remember many games where they beat themselves with bone head plays. Or clear manager mistakes. Or games lost because the 3rd base coach made mistakes waving people in that were dead ducks at the plate.

There are so few mistakes that we can remember Torres on the bases or the kinda dull dumb choices of the back up infielder.

Makes the season much more fun to watch.

Physical losses or slumps out of fatigue I put in the "that's baseball Suzn" category.

Being ready to play and playing hard everyday makes for an easy team to root for

Indians are hot....but the Yanks are 46-18 at home
It's almost painful how badly the Yankees gave dominated Baltimore

16-2 against them, outscored them 145-77.

Are those numbers right? 8 runs a game?

Lots of foul balls after going 3-2....Too me, CC would almost be perfect for the Nestor Cortes role in the playoffs. Start Green for two, then to CC....

Yep. They rarely beat themselves and when it happens "you" are shocked. They aren't perfect in the field, but pretty damn reliable.

I like that idea. Getting 3-4 innings out of CC in that spot, it's a win. Our BP is such a luxury.
Let's see when they play Houston and Dodgers

Get a good read on them then.
Rosas looks like a serious dude

in the postgame. Love the job the translator does.
look at Houston
RasputinPrime : 8/13/2019 10:34 pm : link
their lineup, their BP and their rotation.

We better get healthy and that includes Betances, Sevy, Judge and Stanton.
One of many differences from last year
mfsd : 8/13/2019 10:35 pm : link
Yanks are beating the teams they should be consistently. Of course we still won 100 last year, but there were a lot of frustrating no-shows against the likes of the Jays and Orioles sprinkled in.

Admittedly, this Os team is even worse than last year, and one of the worst baseball teams of recent memory, but still
Rosas ==> Rosa

Good job holding the fort down on the home front boys

I did my best out here at Petco but the Ray's held on. The park is awesome. We had a blast. Next Friday we're catching the Yanks at Dodger Stadium.

The sweep would be nice considering the Yankees have a tough stretch of games up ahead (the following ten are against teams above .500) while the Devil Rays have nothing but cake for the next ten games.
