He had his payday, he had his numbers... once the team had nothing to play for, he seemed to decide that protecting his body was more important than being out there for his team.

Maybe that's not what happened, but it sure seems that way to me... and it's been suggested by a few different people in a few different corners now. Based on the way he's acted at times, it certainly wouldn't surprise me.

No one should want that type of mentality here. No matter how good the player is.

That is who Odell is.

If that what the coach wants to see, he has a reason. Which is why you can never believe "the defense is ahead of the
offense" etc. The coach can make the practice anyway he wants for any reasons he wants. Bill Parcells told us this long ago. So tweet what you will it's no more right or wrong than any of your camp tweets.

I think it's more specific to today's practice, not a general thing for camp.

It could happen with a first year head coach and someone as disruptive and polarizing as OBJ (still so weird that that is a generally accepted truth now!). If Barkley was the least bit banged up, I'm sure many would have advocated putting him on the shelf. As you yourself advocated they do with OBJ at the time. If not advocated, at least posed no opposition to the prospect.
