Hello all...
I am going to Foxborough, MA with 2 of my college friends to watch Tawmmy the GOAT viciously murder our beloved New York Football Giants on Thursday Night "Football" in October. At least there's legal weed for my pain.
Hotels near the stadium are out. No need to pay the Red Roof Inn $450 for 1 farkin night. We want to do a bit of sightseeing on Friday. So obviously Boston is unmatched for that. However, coming from NJ, Boston is further down the road than the stadium, and God help us getting out of there on Friday evening.
I'm wondering if it might be worthwhile to stay somewhere else not too far away, like Providence. Anywhere within 45 minutes of the stadium that might be a worthwhile place to spend the day on Friday. Any thoughts? Thanks!
They are about 25 - 30 min up 495 from the stadium.
If you want some other activities to do like restaurants and bars, etc. then yeah, Providence is a MUCH better option - Federal Hill may be the most underrated 'Little Italy" in the Northeast, but if you just want a hotel room, Milford is the place you want to stay.

Also in Milford, a Best Western and a Fairfield Inn - Best Western was just completely redone.
