Not expected to play tonight #CHIvsNYG:
RB Barkley (coaches decision)
RB Gallman (ankle)
CB Beal (hamstring)
CB Baker (knee)
LB Ogletree (calf)
OT Mihalik (burner)
OT Asafo-Adjei (concussion)
WR Slayton (hamstring)
WR S. Shepard (thumb)
TE Engram (coaches decision)
LS Zak DeOssie (toe)
I’d offer Tanney or Lauletta to the Eagles and see if they bite.
because mara already did this? he freaked out when the backlash started

Looks a little stronger this year
I read an article where Tanney and Lauletta are trade bait XD

Crying a lot the last several years
Which is why Eli should have a short leash.
Eli's time here is almost up. It more than likely won't bother me when they switch.
I would prefer Manning to have a good season
I want him to win another superbowl. But he hasn't been good lately. And expecting a superbowl is fucking crazy at this point.
My expectations are quite loose for the giants. I've been burned too many times because I thought I knew better.

What the fans have to say about player personnel. The fans will show up. You certainly don't build or maintain a team because of what fans say. What a horrible way to maintain a team

Or righted a wrong when he was lied to by 3 people who are no longer in the NFL.
It was. A rocket. Like to see more of him in passing situations.End of game emphasis seems to be on runners and run blocking, though.

I don't know that he necessarily freaked out. That is a perception.
Even if he did, can't one change their mind or ways?
The unbearable part is going to be posters clamoring everyday once the season starts for him to start when in reality Eli will be given at least 6 starts to show what he can do.
Yeah I’m fine with that if you are saying that when Jones does get his chance and struggles you aren’t constantly bringing up those that thought he’d be better than Eli. I’m with you on the fact Jones likely isn’t ready and Eli should get the starts as long as they are competitive and in contention. I’m just thinking you won’t give Jones a fair shake if he struggles when he does take over. I can see an endless stream of “I told you so” going on.
Don’t let the nitwits turn you against Jones, even if subconsciously. We should all hope he comes in and kicks ass.
Agree
I can't tell if that was the same play, I think it was, but Hernandez ended up blocking two dudes at the same time
If his back holds up we may have a very fine line this year. That pancake was sick!

I can make a nice friendly wager with you. I’ll cheer on Jones like I do for Eli when he gets his chance. I’ve become a big fan of Jones.
In fact - I texted Mook earlier tonight saying we are going to be just fine with Jones whenever he gets his chance.
these guys are having fun and look to be together
as a team .
I think he’s defined for the PS, unless one of the backs in front of him get hurt?!
Because why would you pay and play Manning in front of Jones unless they really think this team has a legitimate shot at championship?
226 lbs, but looks very shifty for a guy his size. Kind of like 230 lb SB.

Oh yeah. I’m not expecting more than that.
Agreed.

Just wait until the NFL unveils their new picture in picture feature in the regular season.

I know it’s only preseason but even so, I believe this team will be better than you think.
“Get your playbook, coach wants to see you”

I'd like to see him vs better competition. He looks pretty doggone good. Has some speed too.

It's just a final thank you to Eli before they move on for good.

Perhaps they believe winning makes a difference in the attitude of your team.
If manning gives them the better chance to turn his team into a winning team then it's an easy decision.
A team can have a successful season without a championship. Some believe winning consistently is good for the mindset of your team

I still struggle to understand how management saw the 5-11 team from last year, the number of rookies and 2nd year players in key roles this year, and the number of new players in the system, and thinks this is a team that can compete for a championship.

You honestly think the giants are wasting a season just to send a player off?

Do you believe this team is good enough to seriously compete for a championship?

Eli has one year left on his contract. I think they're giving this to him and letting him play this final year (or at least until the middle/latter part of the season). Did you see how they reacted when Eli got benched?
I think there's a shortage of tin foil in the Tri-State area

Yes I was paying attention. Even with that data I was never lead to believe they would simply waste a season

It's not a gift. He's under contract anyway.
Huh?
Came away with the same feeling. And it feels pretty good.
