About baldinger is that he shows what he is seeing. He is not just spouting his analysis. This is what I liked about mayock during the drafts. He would talk about a players strengths and weaknesses while showing actual clips showing what he is talking about.
manipulates the safety right at the snap with his eyes and a little shoulder movement, and goes to the fly route. I'm surprised Baldinger didn't recognize it. DJ looked textbook there though, lot of Aaron Rodgers in that play, so smooth.
Here's something to consider, last year when people were saying that Josh Allen's WRs dropped a lot of balls a standard response was that he was inaccurate and threw an uncatchable ball. That's clearly not the case with Jones. Imagine how terrible his WRs were if they dropped catchable ballls.
Baldinger's breakdowns...but did anyone notice the post-it notes with various logins/passwords on the at the bottom of his monitor? Someone should probably mention that to him (I don't use Twitter or I'd comment).
for hitting the WR in stride and putting it right where it has to be.
Even those short crossing routes over the middle are delivered on target and with the WR not breaking stride. When you do that, you increase the chances of additional YAC

Very true. And those draft analysts without Mayock tempering them this year all are on the verge of sounding like a bunch of jerks.
...throws a really nice spiral!
If you can make your first two preseason games look like your pro day workout you are on the right track imo.
...throws a really nice spiral!
it seems like a very catchable ball

Which is the name of the game in today's NFL.
That crosser to Golden was real nice too

for hitting the WR in stride and putting it right where it has to be. So exciting to have a QB who has the ability to do that.

I was just about to comment on that 😄lol
