NFT: Saw a no hitter last night

Steve L : 8/20/2019 8:10 am
AAA in Rochester. TJ Zeuch of the Buffalo Bisons (Blue Jays Farm team) no hit my Rochester Red Wings (Twins). Even on the losing end, it’s still a great experience. He came dangerously close to a perfect game. Only one walk if I remember correctly. Thankfully he got a standing ovation.
For my 35th birthday my wife invited about

30 of my friends to an obscure mid season Nats v Pirates game. Everyone showed up. We were having a blast and before we knew it Max had a perfect game going. Obviously the second to last batter leaned in and took a hit to the arm to ruin it. But he finished the no hitter. Pretty cool way to celebrate my birthday. The perfect game would have been insane though.
Bradshaw, that’s crazy!

My wife did almost the exact same thing for me at the same game only it was for Fathers Day. She bought a block of tickets for like 15 of us and all of a sudden we noticed Scherzer was perfect through 5. What a game.
Definitely cool to see for either side

I was at Derek Lowe's no-hitter at Fenway.

Not a Sox fan, but it was cool to see, especially since i had bleacher seats and as Lowe was warming up in the bullpen before the game I was heckling him.

I was also at the Labor Day weekend game at Fenway where Mike Mussina had a perfect game for 8 2/3 innings until Carl Everett (?) broke it up. Not a Yankees fan, but was really pulling for Mussina there so I could say I saw it.
My grandfather claims that the last baseball game he attended...

was Don Larsen's perfect game. He's generally not a bullshitter so I believe him, even though probably 2-300,000 people claim to have been there that day.

I guess our wives have great minds, Jimmy!

We ended up watching most of the game from the Red Porch. We had several of the tables right up against the glass. We were all standing on chairs watching the last few at bats. That's probably the most focused I've been on a game since I was a kid. Good time.
Doc Gooden’s no hitter will always be one of the best games

I got to see live, I was in the front row of the upper deck. About the 6th inning the crowd realized what was going on, and was standing and cheering almost every pitch the rest of the way.

I don’t think I will ever forget Carl Everett doinking a soft liner to left to break up what should have been a perfect game.

My buddy got us front row tix to Thursday night's Pirates/Nats game at PNC Park. Word is Scherzer is pitching. If he does--hoping I get to see some of that magic.
