Received an email yesterday reminding me about my tickets to the a’s yankee game and they mentioned clear. I went to the website and found out they have this service at citi and Y.S. Also at JFK. Is there really a difference in using this service.
You don't have to wait on line. At airports if you have TSA Pre it's a shorter line but still a line. At YS it can be a long line to get in and it will save time.
I looked into it and was able to use it at LAX during the 30 day trial but then at JFK they did not have it at terminal 7. Hertz also uses it at LAX but then when I rented the car at Newark they did not have it installed yet.
This month during the trial for 4 flights and 3 car rentals was only able to use it 2x (LAX and the car rental). Therefore, was not worth it; however I cancelled it just before the trial ended and then they offered me a much lower price.
While the service is great it is not available everywhere and being able to use it <50% of the time was not worth it for me.
I love it for airports, tho as noted, it's not available everywhere. I live in the DC area so I can always use it outbound and between C!ear and precheck, I get thru security in 5 minutes. They're expanding it all the time. I don't, however, understand the benefits it offers for stadium entry.

My frustration is not all airports and terminals have it. I paid $160 for it this year but will not be renewing.
