important piece to that defense. They have been drafting a lot of DBs lately so may not hurt, but Chung was a classic, only-good-in-Belichicks scheme kinda guy
about cocaine, but in NH, possession of even a trace amount of heroin can, and often does, lead to jail time.
They may be more focused on heroin because it has taken such a strong hold in New England, but I can't imagine their laws differentiate between the two drugs.
But he lives in NH? Wouldn't most Patriots live in MA? And it's not like Foxboro is a 20 minute drive to the Granite State. It's closer to Rhode Island. Maybe he has multiple houses, who knows?

New Hampshire has lower taxes so that could be a reason.

Meredith is on Lake Winnepesaukee, my guess is he owns a lake house up there and probably claims NH as his residence for tax reasons.

Solid point. NH lost it's allure to me when the Old Man of the Mountain collapsed. Haha. Just kidding. I'll be up in good old Hampton Beach come the Smuttynose Half Marathon in early October.

Not quite true. He was good for the eagles but realized quickly he better head back to NE if he wants to be a consistent winner
Hampshire has some of the stiffest drug laws in the country and have a pretty high conviction rate
Ahh I thought it was pretty liberal, but realized I was confusing that with Vermont.
Has nothing to do with politics. Everything to do with the amount of drugs that come through the Canadian border. My friend is a cop in Vermont. He’s sent me pictures of some of the drug busts and it’s insane the amount of heroin the comes through the northern borders.
as someone who uses cocaine in moderation once or twice a month, I feel for this guy. It has no impact on me as an employee when I confine it to a Friday or Saturday night. The stuff should be decriminalized. With that said, you have to know the risk you are putting yourself in. At 32, the dude's career is officially over.
Why is that pertinent?
Let a new curse begin!
MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Thanks. Meant to put indicted in the title.

Pretty sure the three rings he's won since then have helped him get over it (and he was only on one team the Giants beat).
Re, the indictment A bit surprising as he has a pretty clean record
