You thought officiating couldn't get worse?!

was an embarrassment. It isn't just calls or non calls, they couldn't fucking place the ball properly if their lives depended on it. At least 4 times they had to fix where the ball was placed or talk over what to do about the ball placement.. It was pretty pathetic.

where to spot the ball after a penalty, whether a team accepted a penalty, what the play clock should read, etc.

Yes, and to be honest Taylor the Bengals HC completely screwed up how he handled the decision on accepting or declining. He thought the pass was incomplete, so he declined the penalty. But, once the refs corrected themselves and called it complete and spotted the ball properly Taylor should ahve changed his choice. Instead of 3 and 6 he should have backed the Giants up inside the 10 and gone with 2nd and long. He declined the penalty when he thought it would be 3rd and 10.. Poor by the officials and by the Bengals young coaching staff.

With horrible officiating. Not sure why the league would even entertain crossing that line, but I suspect there will be many officiating based “outrage” moments this year that are front page NFL news worthy stories. I can’t think of a single aspect that would drive me away from the NFL game faster than thinking that the wins and losses are determined by the refs instead of the players and coaches. It’s already almost at this level as it is. Crazy to think it could get materially worse.

F'd up the spot when the Bengals declined the penalty. I was yelling at the TV as the dumb ass announcers didn't realize it either.

I mean, Jesus H., It is your F-ing job, how could 6 officials botch something so basic?

They don't call them The Bungles for nothing...and not one mention of it by their horrible play by play guys.

from the bad calls, what bothered me the most was the constant huddling up by the crew. It's like they were afraid to make a decision. It slowed the game. And they also interrupted play a couple of times.

To challenge if pass interference if none called is horrible. Fans are going to lose their friggin minds when it changes a game.
