I was very disappointed in the OL play. Between Hernandez's penalties, Nate looking like Ereck, and Remmers looking like an old man with a bad back, there is a lot of work that needs to be done before Week 1.
Hernandez and Zeitler are solid guards, but the tackles are mediocre at best and need to be replaced soon anyway. Our centers have a lot to prove, but so did Shaun O'Hara when he got here, so maybe Pulley or Halapio will overachieve.
In the previous preseason games and had some bad plays against the Bengals. Hernandez has been very good and he struggled at times. I saw some very good plays even last night.
I think we will all be very happy with this offensive line once the season starts.

What game were you watching? Hernandez had THREE penalties in the first ten plays. Solder had one and the whiff. You cannot win playing behind the sticks and between penalties and not getting much push the starters were pretty awful.

The only place you can hit a QB is in the chest and back. The angle at play here doesn't really show the hit in the right direction, but it wasn't a spear.
IMO Cincy came out with more intensity than We did .
With Barkley in the lineup it changes the outlook completely.
I think the O-line will continue to improve and get accustom
to one another .

I think Cincy came out a bit amped since we were rolling in the preseason so far.

I recently watched a rerun of the Denver v Carolina super bowl on FS1. I didn’t realize until I watched it, but It was remmers playing RT. And boy did he get beat like a drum that game. He was also responsible for the famous Cam bitching out on the loose ball play. He was terrible. And that was 5 years ago. Is he really that good? Especially coming off of surgery? I know that Denver DL was good, but damn.
And Hernandez did on a few plays inside, it's going to happen. This isn't the 86 Giants OL, it's just better than the horse excrement we're used to.
Pretty much this. There will be a breakdown every now and then, players get beat. But it’s not going to be a jailbreak every damn play, which is an improvement for this team.

"What game were you watching?" == You moron!
Very true. I believe a combination of relief and the contract has given some fans the false belief Solder is or ever was a very good tackle.
He's an adequate player, who's not immune to ugly plays, and showed that in NE and last year.

Fingers crossed.
