Christ, it crossed the front of the plate from the overhead camera and that is a strike. This guy is calling a good game. Doesn't mean he hasn't missed a pitch or two.
How are you getting that angle?
(I'm watching on FS1 and they showed a replay where it looked outside.)

WPIX feed(?). It caught the very front edge of the plate on the overhead camera and the camera is a little left of center which brings it more over the plate if brought to the right. One way or another, it was not a bad call IMV.
Looks like CC's one bad pitch cost him the game. Yankees' bats have sucked on this trip.
Didn’t they get 10 last night?
Yeah, ok. 1 game in 5, good point. How many runners did they leave on base in that series with the A's in scoring position? about 20?
At least today is a good pitching duel.

Interestingly "Brooklyn" is coming in to pitch for the Yanks against the Dodgers.

that was ridiculous. 1-2 count with no pitch in the zone...
thank god it didn't fuck us over
great point. Two bunts when up 3-1. shocking
Torres should have been allowed to advance.
Bad umping.

They never called time.
Expect to be screwed here
agree 100%
He was 1-2 feet from the plate. Its bullshit.
Could Boone have protested that, so the game is played under protest

No he was about 15 feet off 3rd, but was running when Jansen asked, but you cannot call time in the middle of a continuing play. Ump blew it.

I suppose he could. But nothing ever comes of it.
C'mon Gary!
RISP continues on the West Coast. That was on Tauchman. All he needed was to put a ball in play anywhere.
Fuck off, whoever you are
