Well against the Bengals, his first three drives all came against there defensive STARTERS.
So now we can put that claim to rest.
Also to give some reference, Eli Manning as a rookie, his 2004 preseason QB Rating was 53, Daniel Jones 140.
Finally Baker Mayfield's 2018 rookie preseason, he had a 57% comp percentage, Daniel Jones 83%.
