This Sunday the new season of Giants Chronicles begins with a feature on Carl "Spider" Lockhart.
I was invited by the producers of the show - who'd contacted me through Eric - to participate in a series of interviews on past Giants that were filmed for this show, and possible future episodes.
It was a great experience. I spent the whole morning at the Timex Performance Center, was able to get an informal tour of much of the building as the coaches and players had not yet begun OTAs (in fact, the film crew had just returned from the combine in Indianapolis) and met Carl Lockhart Jr. who was interviewed right after me.
I haven't seen the episode yet, so I have no idea what to expect. I'll be watching it for the first time when it airs Sunday at 10am.
Here are the MSG Network listings:

If you don't have MSG, a day or so after the initial airing it will be available on Giants.com:

If you don't mind my asking, can you share with us how the invitation came about for you?

Sure. They had a list of players they wanted to do features on. One of the directors came across the articals I wrote for BBI. So he got in touch with Eric and the Friday before the Super Bowl we exchanged emails and he called me the morning of the Super Bowl.
He gave me 6 players to research and prepare for and I went down there during the first week of March. It was my first time ever in front of a bunch of lights and camers and I nearly had a panic attack when the guy clipped a mic to my chest, but it went great. It was an awesome day.
So true.
So cool that you got rewarded for all of the great work that you have put together over the years for us.
Next up is you sitting next to Carl Banks and Bob Pappa in the radio booth on game day.
