Q: How much are you looking forward to seeing how much this group has progressed?
A: I’m just excited to see how we are going to ball.
Q: Last year you couldn’t get much of a pass rush, is that something you expect this year?
A: We expect a lot of things. We are going to work together as a defense, everybody swarm to the ball, that New York Giants football.
Q: Do you like this group that’s going into this 2019 campaign?
A: Yea, I love it. A lot of young guys, but they matured over the offseason and just ready to see everybody play.
Q: What’s the biggest challenge with facing a guy like Amari Cooper?
A: Just doing my job and making sure I’m focused and locked in and make plays.
Q: How different are they with him in there?
A: You just put him in Dez’s (Bryant) spot if you look at it as I do my scouting report. I just put him in Dez’s spot.
Q: Are they similar do you think?
A: Yeah, not in ability. I’m not worried about a one-on-one guy, team defense everyone playing together, swarming to the ball and I’m just going to do my job.
Q: How do you feel about the other corner back spot, it might be another young guy, how much confidence do you have they can get the job done?
A: Whoever they put out there, they are going to be ready. They prepare well, I’m just ready to see them play. Whoever it may be, we don’t know, we have to see.
Q: With so many young guys, would you like to shadow the other teams’ best receiver?
A: I like to shadow, when you go back to when I came into the league I have been doing that since I got into the NFL. Whatever they have me doing, I am going to do it and accept my job.
Q: Somebody like you gets up for that challenge?
A: I stay ready.
