I watched that Hard Knocks and their team looks like a shitshow. Mike Mayock looks like their most valuable asset and he almost got punched in the face the other day.
I think I am going to make the trade. So frustrating because I was trying to pick between him and Thielen at pick #25 and I went AB based on him having a higher ceiling. Big mistake. I figured all of the foot stuff and helmet drama was a ploy to get out of having to practice. Lesson learned.
I would be open to dealing him, but if the guy came to you for AB, I’m sure you could negotiate a bit more value. I would be interested to hear the rest of the teams, yours and his.
Sounds like the deal is already accepted. Best of luck
Antonio Brown was rated as WR6 in most rankings, Golladay was WR16.
Golladay is still WR16 or close to it, where do you think Antonio Brown is?
I heard people trying to make a similar case for Le'Veon Bell in trades last year (for different reasons obviously) and wound up with him on their bench all year because they waited too long or held out for better offers and then couldn't let him go in case he came back.
If it's me, I cut my losses on AB and accept the Golladay trade. Not sure who gives up anyone better at this point.
for two reasons...
1. Brown's value is at an all time low right now. There is a vulture looking to take him from your.
2. Golladay is a bit over rated right now.
** you will be asking us to kick you in the balls when AB ends up on the Patriots or the Cowboys by Halloween.
how many WR's do you start? What does your depth look like? If you have Brown and will need to start Corey Davis or something then id make the trade. Brown was more like WR 10 in most rankings at this point, but its still a drop off to Golladay. Again if you can hold out a couple weeks to see what happens that would be your best bet. Or maybe include an upgrade at RB or TE in a two for two type trade.
I think Brown is going to be a disaster all year, i dont think he cares about the team at all. Not even sure how much he cares about playing. And OAK isnt going to be very good.
Tawwmy Bwady is on waivers in my league. My QB is Cam, whom I really believe in. That said, he is injury prone, and AB (whom I have lol) happened so Brady could have a big year.
Here are the people I can drop for Brady:
Darrell Henderson
Gallman
Dion Lewis
Shady McCoy
John Brown
Please note that I have Saquon and did Stars and Scrubs, so dropping Gallman is a huge risk: my league has a stiff last place fine AND each spot in the standings is a different amount of money.
Appreciate all advice. I'm leaning towards not bidding on Brady tbh.
but yes to TB12, esp if you don't have a backup. Easily Gallman then Henderson. I admit ignorance to strategy related to a stiff last place penalty, but it's week 1 you should be concerned about winning not NOT finishing last. Yes it's a risk to lose the handcuff but IMO handcuffs are really not typically great strategies, unless it's a relatively sure fire RB1-2 when they are in (otherwise it's a roster slot for a weak player even w/ opportunity, in many cases). I mean as decent as Gallman is, he's not likely much more than an avg FF RB even if as #1 on the depth chart. Not that he has zero value esp in 12 & 14 team leagues, but you know what I mean

Thanks. I also probably should have noted that it's a 14 team league, so things get scarce really quickly.

I guess it happened a lot sooner than Halloween. I hope you did not accept the trade.
