The announcer just said that Nadal is an 18:1 favorite in this match?? WTF?
I mean I knew he was heavily favored but that seems crazy to me. I mean in a U.S. semi-final? If this were the French Open I could maybe see it considering it's been proven that beating Nadal on clay is probably the hardest thing to do in all of sports (look it up). But this is on a traditional hard court at the U.S. Open we're talking about. Meanwhile Federer and Djokovic both got beat this past week.
Also, I know it's early but Berrettini certainly doesn't look like a slouch to me. I'm kind of wishing I'd thrown down 50 bucks, cracked a beer, sat back and hoped to win close to $1000 tonight. At the very least that would have been pretty exciting.
