Unfortunately, no amount of enthusiasm can make up for the fact that the Cowboys are much more talented than the Giants, and the game will be played on their home turf. Sad to say, I think Mr. Chuck Knoxx is in for a big letdown.
RE: I guess I'm getting old that I expected this post Â
Defense is another story. I still like that the giants went young on D. The football universe generally rewards the giants when the draft defense and take the long game approach on D. Might get rough at times but maybe these kids will be ready to go. They’ve gotten a lot of snaps and looks and coaching in camp. And it’s worth noting that the best players to emerge under bettcher last year were the rookies. These kids might be ok. If they are, the D won’t have much of a choice but to be halfway decent.

Oh, come on. The Dallas offensive line is arguably the best in the business, while ours is average at best. That alone makes their entire offense much better than ours, even if Elliot isn't at full strength today. Keep an eye on WR Michael Gallup, 3rd Round pick from last year. If anyone on the Cowboys is poised to "break out" this year, it's him. He reminds me of Hakeem Nicks.
Jk
You're not alone. That was my first thought.
"Ground Chuck"...
