Picked it up from my 18 month old on Wed. Had fever up to 104 with body aches. Did the Motrin thing and got generally better in the morning. Thought I kicked it so I didn’t really rest much after doing another Motrin dose in the morning. Wrong. Got the shit kicked out of me later that day and haven’t been able to recover since.
I hate going to walk ins or the ER but this is now day 4 and I can’t say I feel materially better. The fever is not 104 anymore. More like 100 prob and seems to come a few hours after Motrin wears off but my body feels like I was just competing in the UFC card.
I should note that our 18 month old is also getting her 2 year molars right now so she sleeps from 8-12 then screams for an hour or two then maybe sleeps some more after that. My wife has been doing the nighttime stuff for the past week but I’m still awake, if not up and helping, when the baby gets up.
I have a separate area I’m going to try to sleep in tonight to see if a full night works but wanted to see if anyone else is suffering or if there is some bug out there I’m not aware of.
Damn it. Thanks for the response.
Feel better
Same here.
He passed away this morning.

Man. Nice knowing y’all
Nope. Why?

Ugh. I figured if I’m still shitty Mon I’ll go to my primary but I’m always underwhelmed unless I go to a specialist for something, like my shoulder injury. I feel like they just guess and hope the process of elimination works.
I did have walking pneumonia in both lungs last year too :(

vap?
Nope. Why?
Around the nation, people have been getting extremely sick and ending up in the hospital with pneumonia-like symptoms, and a few have actually died, and the only common thing is that vap.
Afew poeple have even died from it.
