always come up small when it matters. Jerry Jones has always been entertaining given his loser status (except in business)..
The Eagles incur my wrath
BB, I work with an Eagles fan. Tough for me when they are actually good. The Dallas fans when I was younger started the dislike. Bunch of morons who just liked a winner. Add what Jones did to Landry and I just can’t stand anything about them. A few players I respect like Jaylon Smith, and Witten but other than that can’t stand them.
Feburary 2018 chatting with a friend the wife made from gym. She asked about the game & I said, 'I'd rather not wake up tomorrow then live in a world that has seen the Eagles win a Super Bowl.'
She laughed. Wifey chimed in, 'He's not kidding.'
As per usual, the Mrs. was right.

I had a similar sentiment. I also lived in Philly at the time.

I know that you're old enough to remember Tom Landry.
Of course and it was brutal, only mitigated SOMEWHAT by the fact that Landry was a great Giant and always a class act. I’m referring to the last 30 years.
that kind of emotion/obsession with sports in my 30's. But to each his own. :)
I feel a little sorry for you. As a fan it still is exciting to hate another team all in fun. Watching sports and watching my team win is a high. Rooting against a team and watching them lose is also a high.

Interesting and strange take for a gentleman our age. Have you lost count of the Boys SB trophy total vs the Eagles?
The Eagles have come up small far more often than the Cowboys.
I hate the Cowboys and their pathetic know nothing fans above all else, and for hiring Tom Landry away from us, and building a dynasty on his back, I loathe the Dallas franchise above all others.
whichever team is having more success that particular season and which cast of characters is on their team. The 90's Cowboys were unbearable with Irvin and Smith. Desean Jackson being back on the Eagles (with his skills VERY diminished hopefully) is nauseating. I also live in Central Jersey near that invisible fan borderline so I do encounter more Eagles fans.
As soon as the Giants are eliminated from the playoffs in any given year my entire season is devoted to the day both of them are eliminated.
It's a toss up but I certainly loathe both of those miserable organizations.
me as I hate the Eagles 1A and the Cowboys 1B, 49ers are a close 2nd.
Living at the northern portion of the Jersey shore we have a good amount of Eagles fans here, yet Giant and Jet fans are still more predominant - but the fans presence in itself makes them an easy 1A. Aside from that, I hate the uniform, the players in them, the coaching staff, etc. Similar to my distaste for the Boston Red Sox.
To be brutally honest, on the field, I hate the Dallas Cowboys, but I do have respect for guys like Dak Prescott, Jerry Jones, Jason Witten, and other guys in the past - that literally changes nothing for how I feel about the team but they, as people, at least have a couple redeeming qualities and I can at least see them. But with that said, if they go 0-16 this year, I will be thrilled beyond words.
or Redskins at all. I get the rivalry, but have a peaceful hope for their constant failure without the strong emotion. Different story for the Eagles. If the old Soviet Union had a powerhouse football team and was playing the Eagles, I would root for the Commies to win. Hate is a strong word, but yeah... I hate the Eagles.
From 1970 through 1979, the Cowboys won 105 regular season games, more than any other NFL franchise during that span, they also appeared in 5 and won two Super Bowls.
Media darlings when I was a kid, and they routinely beat us. Back then the Eagles were just as hapless as NYG, and the skins were good but they didn’t get the fawning frontrunning obnoxious fan sheep that flocked to the “stars”.
I've always hated Dallas the most with the Eagles an ass hair behind them. I know a fair amount of Dallas fans who aren't from Dallas and are only fans of the Cowboys because of the mid-90's.
Fuck everything Philly, but something about the Cowboys just has always made my fucking blood boil. I can't stand losing to them. Not that it's any more digestible when we lose to the Eagles... I was borderline unconsolable after the 2010 game. That one hurt and if it weren't for the 2011 team, it probably would still piss me off way more than it does.
But Dallas... all the constant hype. Every year. "Americas team"... it all just drives me crazy.

+ infinity
For me it was the kids in school in the early 80s, who jumped on the “America’s Team” bandwagon instead of having the balls to gut it out with the Giants, Jets or Pats (being from CT, all fair choices).
Those kids mocked us as Giants fans...then disappeared around 86, only to reappear with a vengeance in the early 90s.
Now they reappear on rare occasions on social media, only when something good happens for the Cowboys, to try and seek credit for being loyal to their team.
I hate the Eagles. I hate the Redskins. I don’t hate the Pats, but I’m tired of their fans.
But none of them reach my level of hate for the Cowboys.

My favorite Jones story
Seems Jones didn't want to share any money shared by existing teams at the Time from new Franchises
Wellington told Jerrah in front of all the owners
Who are you going to play!
Idiot
Sorry for the eratic post
Sure someone will set the story straight
Well it is the only thing I actually hate. Between Jerry Jones and the fact that I have yet to find a Cowboy fan who a actually knows football.
The Eagles incur my wrath
I almost wept when they beat the Pats. That was the last thing I needed to witness...

His taste in strippers.
We root for the Giants
We root against Eagles, Cowboys and Redskins
We basically don't care about everybody else

Some of the darkest days for Giants fans.
And that's Snyder's hero and role model ffs. He most be a completely unbearable tool.
His second words were “ Cowboys cacao yuck “
I told my daughter she cannot bring home a Cowboy fan. Nip that shit in the bud.
