Seemed Saquon was being pulled out of the game after every carry. What did he have... something like 10?
Was he winded? Was he a little out of football shape because he never saw any pre-season games? I just don't understand.
I do understand using Saquon as a decoy, but running Eli Penny on Third and One in the red zone, and then letting Eli roll-out (and get smashed) while we have the best running back in the NFL... I just don't get it?
But there's something I do get. We had no pass rush; we had no secondary; and the Giants and their Head Coach were totally out-classed.
Think about it for a moment. For at least a half dozen years, Dallas would fuck us over with dozens of over-the-middle passes in the 8 - 10 yard range. Today, it was over-the-middle in the 50 - 60 yard range. Well, I guess that's called progress in reverse.
Bottom line: Haven't seen that type of Giants ass-whopping for quite a while. For you old timers out there, you'll know exactly what I mean when I say that game sure had the feel of 1966 all over again.
He got caught on that long run on first series. Is he hurt?

I was surprised when he was caught from behind. That was huge hole I think most NFL backs would have run for 60.
If Saquon doesn't have some type of injury it casts a lot of doubt on Shurmer
Smart move
Ha!
It shouldn't when you have two and a half quarters left. And the Giants arent built to play "shootout" offense.
