They don't have a weakness anywhere. I hate to admit it, but there isn't a position group that you would call anything but solid. And most are much better than that.
And Marinelli is one of The best DCs. We have an aversion to hiring top
Tier DCs when they pick an offensive OC. Betcher is a joke. M
Just a couple stops might have changed the game. This offense will get better. But this D may never Get better this year. He’s A Tim Lewis. Can’t coach
It gives them a big advantage in September, when most teams are in "extended preseason." They already have an established formula and identity. They'll most likely beat Washington and Miami to get to 3-0 - then the road will get a bit tougher.
As for us...we suck. Our offensive line was "upgraded" from dumpster fire to mediocre. No number #1 receiver, no pass rush, young secondary, inadequate safety and linebacker play, and a shitty head coach. A relatively weak schedule might help us find six wins, but that's about it.

It would have been nice if some of our DBs were even in the TV frame on some of those touchdowns.
Hamilton can’t cover or tackle
DeAndre looked slow (hopefully still just healing)
I think I heard Jabril’s name on one play
Lawrence seemed quiet as well
I expected to lose, but was hoping to see some flashes of talent at least.
Offense actually has potential if Shurmur gets his head out of his rear-end and remembers Barkley is on the team. I thought the OL actually looked better than last year at least!

The problem is in terms of differential, I think the Giants are closer to being as bad as they looked than the Cowboys as good as they seemed. I don't think they'll win the division. The Giants on the other hand I think will be lucky to win 7 games. Probably another 5-11/6-10 campaign on tap.
I thought the Cowboys played poorly defensively and ended up getting let off the hook by penalties and Giants' play-calling. Eli looked good, the WRs made plays, and they never really stopped Saquon.
on who we are. A soft defense and non-threatening offense. It's not all doom and gloom because there were flashes there but we're no better than a 7 win team. I'm hoping our young guys play well and the arrow starts pointing up by the end of the season.

And this is the type of game one gets.

That caused a lot of indignant reactions around these parts but that ranking may be very close.

Last year we lost to Jacksonville in week one, but it was close, and Jax was really good, except the weren't.
They finished 5-11 and last place in their division. The Cowboys are not great, we just made them look that way!
Sure they did, by getting a touchdown lead over us. That effectively renders Saquon unplayable I guess.
