I read here more then I post. I’m a huge Eli fan and never once thought he was the problem. It’s been absolutely criminal the talent he has had around him on the offensive line. I think given the right circumstances, he would succeed. They have done a decent job FINALLY giving him an above average oline, but it is too little too late. I’m not an expert like the coaches should be, but even I can see that this offense isn’t a good fit for Eli. What in the world do they see? He’s a statue back there. Shouldn’t be running bootlegs on third and one. And we saw that how many times? Absolutely inexcusable, especially when we have the best back the league has seen in over a decade. That was a terrible showing last night. The coaching staff should be feeling some heat for it.

Cowboys are really good...
Make your determination in 5 weeks
If Shurmur wants to keep his job he needs to know when to lean on Barkley and 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 are great times to lean on him.
Defense must break down tape and figure why the Cow players went uncovered. Fix that. Dumb it down? Every player on every play must be checked by the guy who scripted the play and discover what went wrong. Learn from it.
He has designed the same offense for Eli and it is clear Eli doesn't have that same efficiency. When he rolls out, he looks terrible, can't really throw on the run and usually gets blown up.
We don't have any sort of deep threat for Eli to play the underneath game with.
The Bills do not have an easy defense to play against. What can we expect next Sunday? More of the same?
I love Eli too, but this is like a bad marriage.
5 year rebuild? In the NFL? With the average roster turnover being what it is?
After the 3rd year you'd be in your second rebuilding campaign.

Giants fans/media dont have enough patience for an efficient re-build.
They need to divorce for the sake of the kids

I love Eli, but he should probably be phased out over the season to give Jones some seasoning. Write this season off if we lose the next couple of games and hope for the number one draft pick. Of course, teams will come with hat in hand to trade for one of the QBs and the Giants should rape some team and garner multiple picks as well as a couple of no.1 picks in future years.
Not worried here. We're building a solid team for the future and as I said, much of the team is very talented, but green as grass NFL-wise. Much better days ahead.
I have no confidence at all they will make the right decision in anything they do anymore. Sure they might fire Shurmur or his staff but I see no reason to think they'd have any idea how to hire the correct replacements.
He's the "THE" issue but he's part of it. They had 470yds and 17 points. Defense sucked yes, but the offense and playcalling hurt this offense from scoring more. They could have put up another 10-14 pts with better playing calling and execution.
Who do we hold accountable for converting 19% of their 3rd downs?
That's miserable.
The game vs Miami may be the first "meaningful" game since the playoff loss in Green Bay.
How many sacks did Dallas have with that vaunted D-Line?
The Oline minus some dumb penalties played pretty damn good yesterday.
