I keep shutting them up by mentioning 2007, but my God, their fan base is so damn annoying, especially since they haven't had a whiff of a Super Bowl in more than two decades.
But he knows better than to say a word lest the will gets changed immediately. .. plus he signed a prenup that the kids would remain neutral.
His only saving grace is that he hates the Eagles as much as I do.
At least she didn’t bring home a Jests fan.
my cousins-are relatively nice to me about the Giants. It's like they know we suck & don't feel the need to point it out, which I guess is both nice & sad.
Has a trophy room with all his signed memorabilia, inflates the big Cowboys lawn thing all season, named his son Troy, you know the type...
But surprisingly in spite of all that, he's really not insufferable about it at all, and the rest of us delight in reminding him how they're paper champions every year and never actually get it done.
Started texting this week with article from Sporting News on why Cowboys win SB. Then yesterday texting about the “Massacre.” Hey all I know is the Giants defense is no test for Dak Prescott. Wait until he faces a good pass rush. He won’t throwing the ball all over the field like he did yesterday. Cowboys are always very cocky and so are their fans. Haven’t gotten to an NFC final in 24 years. Jason Garrett is average and that does not win SB.
Looking forward to visiting Maine in a couple of weeks Â
& go for a run in my 2007 Super Bowl champs T-shirt. If you hear about a hit & run involving a Giants fan in Maine come late September, I'm the one who was hit.
It's been a rough day. My Corp HQ is in Dallas and of course I have the usual dopes local to me that are somehow Dallas fans even though they live in CT (and NY). On top of that, I'm seeing commercials with Dak every 5 G*d*mned minutes now.
This days sucks balls.
Guys, Dallas lost on the road to the eventual SB Â
representative from the NFC in the divisional round.
With guys like Gallup and Jarwin taking steps forward, those LBers, the fact they're locking up their premium talent, plus re-inserting Frederick back into the starting lineup, how can they not be considered among the best in the NFL?
From a friend who is a Cowboys fan last night. I hadn't heard from him in years-- The first said "Keep playing Eli, we love him. ...better luck next year, Rangers start Oct. 2nd"
Cowboys fans tend to stick out. Somewhat easy to avoid them when possible. Otherwise (family member/co-worker etc) we just got to suck it up and hope the next meeting is better.
If you say so. I live here in New England and I'm surrounded by Patriots fans every day in almost every interaction i have.
When the topic of football comes up, and it almost always does, most of them just look at me with pity and it's worse if I try and mention 42 or 46. At worst I'll get a "damn you Giants" or some light hearted remark before they remember they won 3 SB's since then.
Maybe your experience is different. I trust my opinion.
None THEY HAVE NO WEAKNESSES at all .
They are deep at every position except maybe RB
They have Zeke and Pollard doesn't scare anyone he is
a big reason there O-line is so successful he can do it
all a small crease and boom 6 yards and a few more on
his power he can pass protect and catch and break tackles
doesn't have the high end speed or moves of Barkley
but his as good as it gets .
Gallup has really emerged Cooper is even better than I thought
and the veteran Cobb knows how to make plays .
Whitten can still get open and Jarwin is becoming a nightmare
for the Giants and others .
One thing the knocks have taught me is how to handle Â
I was preemptive. Last week when several of them wanted to talk trash I completely agreed with them and said I expected the Cowboys to roll us on Sunday.
Wouldn't you know it, none of them reached out to talk trash today. Only one of them said, "man you nailed that prediction, not even I thought it was going to be that easy. You even had Witten scoring a TD." And he wasn't saying that to rub it in.
and I told the second one that being a cowboy fan doesnt make him any less ugly or stupid.
that was my experience today

LMAO
If I'm a Pats fan, I wouldn't tend to get into it with a Giants fan.
Sending them my son at the 2011 Super Bowl.

The OL, Dak, Elliott, young guys on D, then Cooper and they have key players locked up for the foreseeable future (or until they get suspended).
Living in New England I'm not sure the Cowboys fans here aren't worse than the Patriots fans.

Ehhh. Football has a way of changing very quickly.
Having said that, I think they have a really good team, tops in NFC East, and are legit threat coming out of NFC.
But they really haven't had that thumping playoff win with this group. Could happen this year.

a Pats fan messaged last night to say “hey, at least the Giants won some preseason games”
Just reply, 18-1, no amount of Giant suffering will ever diminish the tears we tasted the night 19-0 died.
