Pat Shurmur: Sterling Shepard may have concussion, "appears he might be in protocol here"; Kevin Zeitler (shoulder) & Kareem Martin (knee) also being evaluated. #NYG Link - ( New Window )
the Patriots have Edeleman, and Demaryius, and Gordon, and Dorsett, and AB, and they are the ones with the loaded roster everywhere else, and we probably won't have a pro caliber wr next week.

A lot of them have warts and BB is the only one with the salve.
Some will play in NE for less than market for a 50/50 chance of getting a ring each year.
The Pats are 6 months to a year ahead of everyone else. They snagged Dorsett, a former first round pick who can run, and kept him around for a couple of years before giving him a 1 year contract at $2.6 million this season just in case they needed him. He caught two td passes last night.
We sat there watching Andy Griffith reruns happy as shit that we had Mr. Separation Cody Latimer (at the same money as Dorsett with a bigger signing bonus) and Mr. Slug Benny fucking Fowler. WTF were we thinking?

yes they are ahead of everyone... maybe more than you say... let's emulate them.

partly because they have extra cap $ since they pay their qb part of his $ on the side via the tb12 scam
are own by someone who wants to win. Maras hope they can win.
The kind of post a fool makes. Tisch and Mara don't want to win? Just freakin incredible.
I’m a fan for 65 years. I’m no fool. I lived though the Wellington years where he made us fools for 17 years. His son is no different. His input has hurt this team. Look how he sat there and look at his two time Super Bowl QB get no help on the OL and wasted the second half of his career. I didn’t say they don’t want to win. I said they HOPE to win. There is a big difference and that is what I was saying
who do we cheer for in the SB if it's dallas/NE ? Â
Hey "since 56," you have me by maybe a year. And I, too, am still burned by the Wellington years, but I think it's a stretch to say they don't want to win badly enough or don't fear losing enough.
I think it is simply a matter of candle power. Wellington and John are both guys who were/are not very bright. Running a winning organization is not merely a matter of wanting it badly; it requires brain power enough to have your business outperform its competitors. In the last 50 years the Giants best years came when neither Mara seemed actively involved in team management.

We'll just give Saquon 12 carries instead of 11 to make up for not having an NFL quality receiver playing for us next week.
***It's yet to be determined if Shep is a go on Sunday
big game once again .
Then you got Philly the Rams
Chiefs and not much else .

exactly.. if it wasn't for fantasy football this season looks like it might be a total drag..

In 2017 Shepard missed 2 games while dealing with migraines that arose during the week.

However, I would have phrased it differently. Everyone wants (hopes?) to win. Mara wants to win ... but not everyone hates to lose.
We need an owner who despises losing and will surround himself with the right people (coaches and players) to minimize losing.

Is that a question? BB bleeds blue. Easy, the Patriots.

Totally agree

Update: Sterling Shepard does have a concussion. He is in the protocol. #giants
