Has lots of promise. I think in 2 years or sooner he will be making big plays for this defense. He just needs to get a bit stronger.. instincts are there.

Flashes and has always been disruptive since walking on at Wisconsin. Friends in the program had mentioned his name to me 2 years ago as a guy on the rise who hadn't peaked... Love his hustle, attitude and quick reads... I won't be surprised if he ends up a captain in a few years...

Even at Wisconsin Connelly was great at diagnosing players but either was a step late or had trouble putting the opponent on the ground. There is potential there to be tapped into here.

He proved again yesterday that he isn’t a starting caliber LB. Connelly should stat over him as Connelly has shown far more in practice and camp than Davis has in 2 years.

honestly, some of you people don't know the difference. It's the same mindset that led to the "we did better at the end of the season therefore we are ready for next year's season" mindset or the "we were 4-0 in preaseason, therefore we are better" mindset.

Well, that's a bit much. It was literally his first NFL game. He wouldn't be the first rookie ever held back behind an inferior player at the start of his career. Not everyone is a transcendent talent like LT who was instantly the starter the minute he stepped on a practice field.

Why not stop attacking long time, respected posters and instead enjoy debate and become one of the long time, respected posters? No one is going to run you for disagreement. But I think and hope we see more of him...by the end of the season we'll have a good idea, probably sooner. He needs a little time in the weight room to reach full potential but the intangibles are there.

LT was the # 2 draft pick, and was a beast prior to coming into the pros. Don't follow your point.
