Saquon Barkley highlights vs. Dallas

One of the few positives from this game is that our young star brought it, and didn’t look real rusty. Easy to forget how he punished the Cowboys most times he got the ball. Barkley makes the Giants must-see tv even amidst a down year. Hope he is a Giant for life.

But he needs to celebrate more after every single first down. Like get up and make some kind of gesture to show everybody how great you think you are...like feeding yourself with a spoon. Something like that. C'mon.... Branding!

a team around this guy. Fortunately, we seem to have an up and coming QB to help him out, along with an ok o-line, and a playmaking TE. Build the defense now.

the kid from Dallas was able to run down SB on that long gain. I thought for sure he was gone.
Kudos to him and it also shows just how fast that Dallas defense is.
I hate to say it - but the Giants lost to one of the 5 best teams in the NFL on Sunday.

I was surprised by that too. It was corner Chidobe Awuzie, whose combine 40 time was a little slower than Barkley's. In that play, he looked faster than everyone.

Up to that point Barkley had only run it 5 times. That is 5 times only in the first half. I understand situationally maybe it didn't fit but just surprising given the success he seemed to have almost EVERY time he touched the ball. Why wuld you just keep giving it to him until they focused so much on your star that the rest of your team is wide open in play action?!
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.

Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. Saquon blasting through a huge hole against a SB bound D for 58 yards. Shurmur rollout Eli on a crucial 4th and 1. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Why would you go away from him? Why would you roll out Eli? Why would you use penny?!! I guess I should stop. They are professional football coaches and they know better than me.

Its good to come here sometimes after a shitty loss and laugh. Not so good when its all bashing. I'm hopeful they can get a win against the Bills. Not as many weapons on offense and hopefully the Coaches make some adjustments and the D rookies can improve.....lotsa hope.

The safety had the angle and took a conservative pursuit route, rather give up 60 than try to stop SB for 15 or a TD. 15 yards back and his initial step was a step back.

If our coaching staff doesn't watch the tape and conclude that their excuses for not playing him more were utterly ridiculous and then declare they will never make that mistake again, they may as well be fired here and now.

Watching the replays reminded me what a live wire he was that game and what a chore it was for Dallas D to stop him.

at WR or a QB that can move... preferably both.... to maximize barkley.

puts more pressure on the defense and really would open up some bigger lanes for a guy that doesnt really need them.
