NGT: Jets receiver Quincy Enunwa done for the year

The Jets will be without starting wide receiver Quincy Enunwa for the rest of the season, The Post has learned.

Enunwa suffered a neck injury in Sunday’s season-opening loss to the Bills and will not be able to return this year. This is the second serious neck injury Enunwa has suffered. He missed the entire 2017 season after injuring his neck in training camp that year. It is unclear whether this injury is considered career-threatening.

all over the league. You'd have to be crazy to do this for a living unless you got BIG money AND full health benefits for life.
Rough one for the Jets

Guy is a really good player when hes healthy. Gonna be tough coming back off that 2nd serious neck injury
The more they try to make the game safer, the more dangerous it seems

to get. I don't know what the answer is but after being a crab boat deck hand, NFL player might be the most dangerous job in the US.

I was surprised the Jets extended him

He is always hurt. Another poor decision by the Jets.

They're #20 on lists I've seen. Lots of jobs you don't expect have higher injury and death rates.
Hate to see this

For his sake I hope he just calls it a career. He may not have a choice in the matter, and it's certainly one case of a talent not being realized because of injuries, but I would hate to see him suffer something truly awful, like being paralyzed.

Best wishes to him.
