Turns out he is from Connecticut and has overcome a lot of adversity. Here is a profile from 2016 done by a Hartford TV station

Crazy how giants came in and stole him with minutes to spare. Hope he turns into something.

So far,
fivehead : 9/11/2019 4:21 pm : link
he has made as many big plays for the Giants as the rest of our defense has.
It's a great story that's for sure

The essence of the given name Tuzar stands for versatility, enthusiasm, agility and unconventional methods.
Great story and a very likable guy

Probably does strengthen bottom of roster.

No doubt is big and very strong for the position.

But as a pass rusher against starters? Not sure I remember any recent ER where a 4.89 coupled with scouting reports citing a lack of body flexibility got it done.

Not necessarily any great bets here, but Carter, Golden and OX are better bets.

Would be nice if JB started to show upper echelon coaching talent.

You just described Terrell Suggs. He was downgraded heavily because of his gymnastics. I'm nowhere near comparing the two but a 40 time doesn't tell a ton about a 3-4 OLB. He's a pass rush guy with power, we'll see but don't write him off bases on what you can't recall.
Definitely a great story and a very hard worker

I'm pulling for him, if not only for the benefit to the Giants but to see his hard work rewarded.
Look

even if this guy ends up being like Corey Miller, he may be an upgrade.
Suggs - heavily downgraded?
Bob in Newburgh : 9/12/2019 10:51 am : link
10th pick - means scouts did not feel 40 was heavily correlated to football speed.

That's right, 10th pick (not 10th rd).

And all I am trying to do is be realistic. This is bottom of the roster maneuvers, not a transformational acquisition. He is a Giant. I will root for him. Been wrong before, will be again.
