Is that right? Wasn't it just b4 the 2 min? They showed Arians pull the red flag but refs said something to him and it got pocketed. They said b/c it was inside 2 min, but i'm not sure if that was right

Yeh it was before but i don't think the clock starts regardless.
It wasn't an easy call, but if that's the case running sideways is the worst idea IMO
I'm w/ you on the direct snap and let him choose, but that's STILL go fwd more than directly sideways
It's a bit hindsight no doubt but IMO it's like going deep on 3rd & 2. You can, it might work, yet most times an underneath play for 2yds is more often the right call (as often as teams don't)
It happens, but still someone should tell Steve Smith Â
with the notion you dont go forward etc.. Cam is 6'4" and 240 ish. All he has to do is get to the line and quick snap a dive down or dive over. Its half a yard..
That trick play 100% relies on frint side defender to give up responsibility and chase the motion man. If he doesnt the play is fucked..
Yes, Newton is done. He made some throws but was complete dogshit on so many others..
Olsen is amazing after all these years and injuries..
ChaChing....that play would have made more sense if they needed Â
the TD, he gets the corner he is going to score. He'd get second guessed to death tomorrow but the story is going to be Cam. Wouldn't be surprised to see another early QB retirement soon.
RE: It happens, but still someone should tell Steve Smith Â
Last night was the first time in probably a year since I've actually watched Cam Newton play. It was a stark difference from the player I watched since then.
I'm not sure what the injury was to his should but it's not the same and I think he's done. If Carolina is in the top 10 this year I wouldn't be surprised, luck willing, if they traded into the top 3 for a QB.
RE: RE: Everyone saying just go forward....the Bucs were living in the Panther Â

TB's defensive game plan is exactly how teams will attack the Giants. Stuff the middle, blitz, blitz, blitz and stay in man to man coverage. Let the TE beat you. The Giants don't have a vertical threat which is even more challenging. CAR kept CMC in the backfield to pick up the blitz and it effectively took him out of the game. I expect BUF to do the same and TB to replicate the strategy next week. An immobile Cam Newton sure looks like Eli, although Eli is more accurate and has a better O-Line. Can Shurmur game plan better than Norv Turner?
just now saod " I don't care what they say or anyone says, Newton isnt healthy, he isnt right. Some of those throws look like he just pushing the ball out there. He isnt right and it doesnt take a brain surgeon to see that"!

If you saw his postgame presser outfit, you might say "She's a hell of his former self."
It was quite the contrast at last night's press conference with Cam looking like Boy George but acting very serious and disappointed in his play. How can anyone take him seriously as the leader?

I think this team could be good come December.
problem is they have no QB, that's kinda important.
I wouldn't count Winston out yet. Not my cup of tea but there are some plus tools there...
I am kind of done with him. He seems to have too many problems including he does not seem coach-able.

still looks like he's short as they said
he gets a whole season to figure it out.. but maybe..

Like stratgery. Or symbology
He's been average at best since the SB year.
He should switch to RB.
Great product there NFL. Love what you're doing to the sport.

Trickeration is definitely part of the vernacular now. Expect it to be in Merriam Websters soon.
Honestly thought the same thing watching the game.

Eli can’t move and Cam can’t throw...
Take the thrower.
