He clearly got the ball to the 46, probably even further than that. I dont care if they only had 1 camera for it, it was easy to see he got the first down.
it's amazing how bad it is today. Game seemed ok, but in studio there was a doubling of the signal. Then with Wolf & Irvin talking, they STILL haven't muted the studio mics so you hear them talking the whole segment...such shit work
I can’t decide. If it’s that or the wet ball. But that pass to Olsen where Troy thought ball was tipped made me wonder.
It seem a lot more upper body now and hardly any lower body.
That last pass definitely looked like he didn’t step into it. But that’s the only pass I’ve watched since this post of yours. Now im gonna watch closely. Something does seem off though.
and if someone can fix his decision making its him. Don't know if its bullshit or not but he said 2/3 picks weren't on him. You can tell tonight he is a little more conservative, there was one play on 3rd down you could tell he just wanted to throw a pick but ate the ball instead.
Cam is done as a QB, might as well bring back that offense they were running in his MVP year and make a run while you have McCaffrey on rookie contract.
Rotator cuff surgery for a baseball pitcher is nearly always the end of his career. Is it different for a QB? Is the throwing motion different enough so that rotator cuff surgery doesn’t significantly weaken the shoulder?
Sign Daryl Williams next year, I would say pump the breaks on that, he’s getting absolutely abused by Shaq Barrett of the Bucs. Barrett has 3 sacks, two of them came back to back and all three have been against Williams smdh.

will win. He'll crack Irvin's jaw with a sucker punch as Mike is reaching for a pair of scissors.
I can definitely see that. Smith looks and acts fearless. But I have a feeling you'd better kill Irvin because he'll be willing to kill you.
I was playing hoops years ago with Charles Haley at JMU. We were between games and I asked him about playing in Dallas with Aikman, Smitty, Irvin, etc. He said he and Irvin almost came to blows a few times and Irvin didn't back down an inch. Said he was fearless...
For crissakes that's nothing compared to what the Chiefs do week in and week out...
Yeah it's been a long time they've done a shit job of being consistent w/ that call. Whether it's team bias or not, it's amazing how some are literally blocks or intentional wipe outs on a defender w/ no call, then they call THAT

Totally convinced Clemson beat Alabama in 2017 to win the NC with an absolutely blatant pick play on the last play of the game. If that's called, I think that game is likely over and Bama wins...

spots it behind the line (almost clearly was how he was tackled & where the ball was), then on centering to the other ref it's blatantly moved a ball's length+ fwd
RE: RE: RE: Talented corp of receivers for the Bucs... Â
Is that right? Wasn't it just b4 the 2 min? They showed Arians pull the red flag but refs said something to him and it got pocketed. They said b/c it was inside 2 min, but i'm not sure if that was right

Yeh it was before but i don't think the clock starts regardless.
It wasn't an easy call, but if that's the case running sideways is the worst idea IMO
I'm w/ you on the direct snap and let him choose, but that's STILL go fwd more than directly sideways
It's a bit hindsight no doubt but IMO it's like going deep on 3rd & 2. You can, it might work, yet most times an underneath play for 2yds is more often the right call (as often as teams don't)
It happens, but still someone should tell Steve Smith Â
with the notion you dont go forward etc.. Cam is 6'4" and 240 ish. All he has to do is get to the line and quick snap a dive down or dive over. Its half a yard..
That trick play 100% relies on frint side defender to give up responsibility and chase the motion man. If he doesnt the play is fucked..
Yes, Newton is done. He made some throws but was complete dogshit on so many others..
Olsen is amazing after all these years and injuries..
ChaChing....that play would have made more sense if they needed Â
the TD, he gets the corner he is going to score. He'd get second guessed to death tomorrow but the story is going to be Cam. Wouldn't be surprised to see another early QB retirement soon.
RE: It happens, but still someone should tell Steve Smith Â
Last night was the first time in probably a year since I've actually watched Cam Newton play. It was a stark difference from the player I watched since then.
I'm not sure what the injury was to his should but it's not the same and I think he's done. If Carolina is in the top 10 this year I wouldn't be surprised, luck willing, if they traded into the top 3 for a QB.
RE: RE: Everyone saying just go forward....the Bucs were living in the Panther Â

TB's defensive game plan is exactly how teams will attack the Giants. Stuff the middle, blitz, blitz, blitz and stay in man to man coverage. Let the TE beat you. The Giants don't have a vertical threat which is even more challenging. CAR kept CMC in the backfield to pick up the blitz and it effectively took him out of the game. I expect BUF to do the same and TB to replicate the strategy next week. An immobile Cam Newton sure looks like Eli, although Eli is more accurate and has a better O-Line. Can Shurmur game plan better than Norv Turner?
just now saod " I don't care what they say or anyone says, Newton isnt healthy, he isnt right. Some of those throws look like he just pushing the ball out there. He isnt right and it doesnt take a brain surgeon to see that"!

If you saw his postgame presser outfit, you might say "She's a hell of his former self."
It was quite the contrast at last night's press conference with Cam looking like Boy George but acting very serious and disappointed in his play. How can anyone take him seriously as the leader?
This has never happened before. It's a total excuse. They were testing this out in preseason. They'll bring them back out after Twitter explodes

I kind a like it, wish they would keep it just a bit wider And stop with the weird pans Out of the huddle
And it is bullshit about the lightning. If it was s significant risk, they'd clear the stands.

Exactly, do they think people are stupid?
I remember CBS did it for Super Bowl 47. You could choose between Regular View, Sky Cam and All-22.
I had 3 different computers open and watched all 3 lol
Unless they go with the more traditional view - granted it's higher tonight - I'll bail.
Cam had that.
He clearly got the ball to the 46, probably even further than that. I dont care if they only had 1 camera for it, it was easy to see he got the first down.
Get rid of this garbage.
And frankly I love it. A complete money grab...and the only couldn't care less about the quality of the product and safety.
Such phonies...
So they could test out these camera angles. This shit is so fishy.
By the way - I live 15 minutes from uptown and it isn't even raining here.
i mean, he's soooo short. Hilarious!
Eh, never mind, found the info.
How long do you think it will be until the real cameras are used??
Its never going to. He uses a 3/4 throwing motion now. He's never going to have the same power again.
I can’t decide. If it’s that or the wet ball. But that pass to Olsen where Troy thought ball was tipped made me wonder.
I know one that can probably still do that. Although I prefer a directional kicker.

It seem a lot more upper body now and hardly any lower body.
If you make a call like that with minimal contact that doesn't gain an advantage, you could call basically anything a penalty.
There are so many flags because they continue to use the majority of them on incidental or ticky-tack shit.
TB was stupid to keep him as their starter. Especially when Fitz outplayed him
That is complete Horseshit.

A team would be stupid to give him a big deal.

I agree. For some reason Arians loves him.

An absolute stud.
Cam's been pretty poor the past two seasons. And bw is likely right. People around the team think he's got issues still with the shoulder.

Lol
Yeah he looks god awful

yup
Now watch him come back and throw 3 TDs to win this in the 4th qtr... ;)
If that's called, then you can call any coverage on Shepard. There wasn't a grab - he had a hand on the WR's shoulder. No turning. no pulling.
To my eyes all night, Cam looks like he doesn't even want to be out there.
Quote:
He’s clearly not 100%. He didn’t even seem to care he fumbled. Just got up and trotted off.

Absolutely. And this isn’t the first time he’s been this way. This is his MO from day one.

comical, why is he playing more than Rojo?
He's inconsistent. he is terrible right now. The passing offense also looks like garbage. predictable and creative.

*uncreative
he hasn't been right since his injury. But he always had inconsistent accuracy.
Evans is a beast....its either incomplete or game over.
problem is they have no QB, that's kinda important.
Expect a make up in a call or two...
Expect a make up in a call or two...
I think that is what they are going to do.
And they need the split screen?
Jesus, this is why bringing PI into the challenge arena was a horrid idea.
Just look at this call. I say it's PI. You don't. It's micro managing the game even more.

I wouldn't count Winston out yet. Not my cup of tea but there are some plus tools there...

I am kind of done with him. He seems to have too many problems including he does not seem coach-able.

indeed...
still looks like he's short as they said
he gets a whole season to figure it out.. but maybe..

Like stratgery. Or symbology
He's been average at best since the SB year.
He should switch to RB.
Great product there NFL. Love what you're doing to the sport.

Trickeration is definitely part of the vernacular now. Expect it to be in Merriam Websters soon.
Honestly thought the same thing watching the game.
