in the Super Bowl has to be in the top 100. Also agree on Sehorn INT. Unfortunately I also think we’re going to see DeSean Jackson punt return TD. Ugh, Matt Dodge.
Houdini-like escape from Carl Banks bone jarring tackle attempt. It's being shown on NFL network. It's an Eagles greatest moment and a failed moment for the Giants, but still makes me recall how good the BB Wrecking Crew was. Our current defense couldn't wear their proverbial jockstraps.

That commercial was my introduction to the show. I remember exactly where I was when that happened. I then went on line to look into it more and the online add has the DeSean Jackson punt return being talked about by Kobe Bryant. I think the Giants will be prominently featured on the wrong end of a lot of these plays. You figure they need to have something too from the Greatest Game ever played too. There have been some doozies in Giants' history.
I agree with this. You figure they will want to work the all time greats into this so that is probably the play unless they want to take the cheap way out and do a montage the game in New Orleans with his separated shoulder.
4th down run on the fake punt...
or as a rookie Shockey's first play from pre season scrimmage running through and over the Texans secondary and Strahan's reaction on the TV camera.
but there's a Lawrence Taylor play against the I think the Redskins where he runs over an OG on his way to the QB but the QB tosses a screen type pass to the RB/WR, so LT switches from "get to the QB mode" to "pursue ball-carrier mode", he runs over another OG on his way there while barely losing forward momentum, he races another 20+ yards downfield and catches and tackles the ball-carrier. Running over 2 300lb men with ease, changing directions on a dime, and then running like a madman to catch a ~220lb skill position player way down the field.
In all the LT videos I've seen, that's probably the play that impressed me the most. Even more than the Pick-6 against Detroit or all the other ridiculous shit he did.
Just like the OBJ catch, this wasn't some historically important play. But from a "SportsCenter Top 10" perspective of just being flat-out impressive, I haven't seen many more impressive plays than this.
in 2007. 0-2 with a defense and DC Spags that are an embarrassment. Skins make it down to the 1 and spike the ball with 57 seconds left.
I remember Kavika Mitchell coming up big on the first two downs and then the defense coming together and stopping them on fourth down to win the game. Then we started to rip off the wins as well as a wild ride on the way to winning the Lombardi!
Mark Bavaro dragging most of the 49ers defense 15+ yards after the catch.
Honorable mention: Leonard Marshall blasting Joe Montana out of the NFC Championship game.
Just insane.
Gary Reasons hit Humphrey, not DeOssie.

Agreed.

Thirty years later, this one still stings. - ( New Window )
