work harder, improve technique, be consistent. While all this is true, the hard truth is they don't have enough talent on D to stop the other team too frequently.
The one area where Shurmur DOES have more control is play calling and he fail miserably last Sunday. Let's see if he fixes that.

Not to mention our superstar wide receiver who made us competitive on occasion. Yet some on this board thought we were going to contend. Hopefully, we're embarrassed enough by last week's performance to beat the Bills this week. Even if we do, it'll be like beating Houston last year, it will be meaningless. Unless we panic and trade for bright shiny objects, we're going to have 2 picks in the top 40 next year and 3 more in the top 110. 4 of those picks have to upgrade our defense, edge, inside lb, safety.
