Not a huge fan or anything, but he did have a handful of great songs.

was a trainee before leaving to pursue music.

His sound was a staple of an era. Lots of hits. R.I.P.

I literally just booked a vacation through his agency.

He was an oddity for sure, but a staple of late-70's early-80's rock radio - good bands, good songs.

...he was a HUGE fan - he had tapes of EVERY live show Eddie Money every performed, has a 'Money Man' tattoo, even named his oldest son 'Money'.

a few years back. It was one of those '80s nostalgia tours with Rick Springfield and a few other acts from the time. His daughter sang a good amount during his set.

but not much else. I met him once, he came into my office to use the phone many years ago. The entire conversation was "Yes dear...yes dear...yes dear...", and then when he hung up, he said, "she said 'I do', I just coughed". He seemed like a nice enough guy.

I knew he had been ill, but I was surprised to see him go so soon. RIP.

Not a big fan either but I remember his songs that you just had to listen to when they came up on the radio.

was the guy Eddie Money?

They used to crucify him on 98.5 the sports hub in Boston because he was an Atlanta morning DJ from his home in LA and his leads were horrific "hey, it's the money man". and he was apparently notoriously broke and would lend his voice to anyone who paid him (I have no issue with this, but the hosts of the show mocked him regularly for it).

it was all in good fun, though it did sound like the hosts at 98.5 legit didn't like him.

I wonder if they did some kind of tribute.
